Who was your favorite teacher and why?

I have had a lot of great teachers throughout my education but if i had to choose one it would be Mr. Tucker. He was an amazing second grade teacher. He use to tell us riddles and stories all the time. When he read us books, they came to life. One time he even had an after school activity where our parents were intived to make tie dye shirts with us, make "homemade" ice cream, try to guess the sents in the covered bottles with our noses, and some other activities. He was amazing. What made him so amazing is that we, the students, really felt loved. He took our attention and no one wanted it back. So here is my question, who was the teacher that touched your life and how?

I would have to say that my favorite teachers were my two choir teachers in high school. Mr. Weimer and Mrs. Bodey were the most open and caring teachers that I have ever known. When my mom was in an accident, they helped my family through both her rehab and her coma. Mrs. Bodey was also my AP English 12 teacher and our Theater Department Head so I had her guidance through two classes and after school in the Theater. I found a home away from home in the auditorium where our Choir and the plays rehearsed.

My favorite teacher would have to be my high school amrican and british lit. teacher Mrs. Konop. She always made sure that the students stayed interested in the material because she knew that required courses get boring for some students. She seemed to get sidetracked a lot however, it helped the students listen better when she began talking about the readings. I think she was an effective teacher and she had a big impact on all of the students lives. -Donavan Fincher

My favorite teacher was Mr. Bimmerle. He was my Intro to physical science teacher fresman year and my Physics teacher senior year! Science is my worst subject but for some how he made it fun for me. I enjoyed going to class becuase he was not only one of the most intelligent teachers i have ever had but he was interesting and unique. He really cared about everyone one of his students. If they didn't understand something he would sit there and explain it to them until they fulled understood it. I remember one time he called on me to answer a question and my response was, "I dont know?" He looked at me and said okay, well now you need to figure it out. He went through every step of the problem with me until i figured out the right answer. He never gave up on any students and that was what i respect most about him.
